Home and Destination Charging (0 -> 100%)
Charging is possible by using a regular wall plug or a charging station. Public charging is always done through a charging station. How fast the EV can charge depends on the charging station (EVSE) used and the maximum charging capacity of the EV. The table below shows all possible options for charging the Nissan e-NV200 Combi. Each option shows how fast the battery can be charged from empty to full.

Rapid Charging (10 -> 80%)
Rapid charging enables longer journeys by adding as much range as possible in the shortest amount of time. Charging power will decrease significantly after 80% state-of-charge has been reached. A typical rapid charge therefore rarely exceeds 80% SoC. The rapid charge rate of an EV depends on the charger used and the maximum charging power the EV can handle. The table below shows all details for rapid charging the Nissan e-NV200 Combi.
- Max. Power: maximum power provided by charge point
- Avg. Power: average power provided by charge point over a session from 10% to 80%
- Time: time needed to charge from 10% to 80%
- Rate: average charging speed over a session from 10% to 80%

All about the Nissan e-NV200 Combi
No longer available
This electric vehicle is no longer in production and not available to buy new. The Nissan e-NV200 Combi was available from April 2014 until August 2018. Financial data like price, leasing and company car tax were applicable to the final year of availability of the Nissan e-NV200 Combi.
A new model of the Nissan e-NV200 Combi (2014) is available: Nissan e-NV200 Combi (2018).
Pricing
The Nissan e-NV200 Combi had a Recommend Retail Price (RRP) of £28,852 and an On The Road Price (OTR) of £28,907. The OTR Price includes VAT, first year of VED, vehicle first registration fee, number plates and delivery. The Nissan e-NV200 Combi was eligible for a Plug-In Car Grant (PICG) of £4,500. The OTR Price including the PICG for the Nissan e-NV200 Combi is £24,407.
Drivetrain and Performance
The Nissan e-NV200 Combi is a full electric vehicle (BEV). The maximum power of the Nissan e-NV200 Combi is 80 kW (107 hp). The maximum torque is 187 lb-ft. The Nissan e-NV200 Combi is front wheel drive and can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 14.0 seconds. The top speed is 76 mph.
Battery and Charging
The battery of the Nissan e-NV200 Combi has a total capacity of 24 kWh. The usable capacity is 22 kWh (estimate). A range of about 65 miles is achievable on a fully charged battery. The actual range will however depend on several factors including climate, terrain, use of climate control systems and driving style.
For example: sustaining high speeds in cold weather could result in a range of around 45 mi. However, driving at low speeds in mild weather will increase the range to around 100 mi.
Charging is done using a Type 1 connector and the on-board charger has a maximum power of 3.3 kW. This charges a fully depleted battery back to full in around 8 hours. An optional on-board charger with a maximum power of 6.6 kW is available. This charges a fully depleted battery back to full in around 4 hours. Charging the car using a regular wall plug will take around 11 hours 15 minutes.
Rapid charging is available as an option and is possible through a CHAdeMO connection. The maximum rapid charge power is 46 kW. The battery can't be charged continuously at this power. In an average rapid charge session the average charge power will be around 36 kW. This charges the battery from 10% to 80% in around 30 minutes. A rapid charge like this will add about 45 miles of range.
Energy Consumption
The combined (motorway and city) energy consumption of the Nissan e-NV200 Combi is about 338 Wh per mile. By comparison, this energy consumption is the equivalent of a fuel consumption of 120 mpg in a traditional petrol car.
The actual energy consumption will depend on several factors including climate, terrain, use of climate control systems and driving style. For example: sustaining high speeds in cold weather could result in an energy use of around 489 Wh per mile. However, driving at low speeds in mild weather will increase the efficiency to about 220 Wh per mile.
CO2 Emission
The Nissan e-NV200 Combi emits no CO2 during driving. This only includes direct emissions from the vehicle itself. The energy needed to charge the battery might have been (partly) generated by the use of fossil fuels. Vehicles with an internal combustion engine will always emit CO2 during driving. Additionally, CO2 is emitted during the production and transport of fossil fuels.
